Sorry, the thing is I don't have the file anymore, I also can't get the game from the dev because the dev deleted the game.

Do you lose the game files if the developers delete the game from itch's store? 🤔 I thought it'd be like Steam where bought games are still accessible within our library.
Is it completely gone from your side?

Myself I own Oxenfree which has been removed from itch. But for ppl who own the game, the page is still accessible and files can be downloaded from our library. Searching is a pain because itch's sort and filter features are so terrible.

A moderator from r/visualnovel showed that removed games can be downloaded from the itch app too, i don't have it installed however so I'm not sure.

Sadly it's still gone when I check the app version :(

Adding this: Pretty sure I also bought their other game, Twisted Love but it's also gone from my purchases list, I only noticed this when I check their patreon. The dev said they will only restrict the game, not taken down, but ehhh... :/

It's very disappointing that developers can do this to people who bought the game however.

I just saw your edit. Makes me wonder if the developer did this intentionally or accidentally misconfigured the page. It really is different from the two games mentioned (Oxenfree and Sweetest Monster Refrain) when we look closely

The dev seemed active on Patreon up until last month maybe they're working on it behind the scenes... 🫠 They also posted TL here, idk if they're the same files as when you bought on itchio

Yup, also saw that. I also wondering about that. The Dev only said not a new content but the demo links from the itch page. Which... are they means the free one or the paid one? With my koi-size memory, I can't even remember when the the last game ended... 🤣

Because you paid for it I think you have the right to ask about it, the developer put several contact methods 😅 Only if you want to do it. Otherwise waiting is one option... Both games are still wip, maybe dev will make a bunch of changes as they like and publish the game page later
