some problematic games

You need to set language for non-unicode programs to Japanese.

Windows Vista/7: Open the Control Panel. Access “Clock, Language and Region” > “Change keyboards or other input methods”. The Region and Language options dialog box will appear. Click the Administrative tab. Select Japanese as the language for non-Unicode programs.
