Question (SOLVED) How can I help upload?

I just noticed that a filled Otome request thread's links are dead but I also have the files!. Am I allowed to reply with new links? I notice that anyone who uploads links have that nice shiny role under their account, but I also heard of a lot of regulations regarding being an Uploader such as verifying to Mods about games that they bought. I want to help out with a specific VN game thread.



Another minor question, how do people get those roles under their account name? especially I've seen newer accounts with a pink role

Hi Suji!

These are the guidelines:
- full new games that have no active links on AS can be uploaded with a new thread, please let me know the dead links so i can move it to outdated
- for minor updates or patches, place the data in an already active thread.
- For other language versions of games = new thread
- Bonus content for games with active threads = post in active thread or mega threads (like Tokuten megathread etc)
- If filling a request for a FULL GAME post a new thread then link your thread to the request thread. Do not put files directly in request threads.

Proof of purchase is only asked if you claim you have purchased the item yourself. It can be DM'd to me or posted in your upload (I will remove it once thread is approved)

I am trying to avoid having multiple threads for the same game to make the website easier to navigate.

For the role, interacting in otome-corner and filling requests will help your account standing. So just hang out, chat and eventually you'll meet requirements.
