日中にルーツを持つ、C-POP/マンドポップ育ちのアジアンニューカマーFoiが最新シングル「花遊記」をリリース。本作はFoi自身が作詞/作曲からアレンジまで手掛けており、彼女のルーツでもある中国、その楽器のサウンドが随所に散りばめられたオリエンタルでどこか懐かしい雰囲気を感じさせるバラード楽曲となっている。夏に想いを馳せるようなどこか切なげな印象の歌詞と、壮大でドラマチックなサウンドに浸りながら季節を感じることができる一曲に。
