I think the game has google pairip protection bypass (likely to prevent redistribution) based from what I got here when I tried to merge the files I got from shikuromi

Wow, I just want to say how awesome it is that so many people are working to archive games like this. Unfortunately I'm pretty terrible at tech stuff, so I can't help beyond just cheering you all on!

Hi otome, glad to see you and ces back on the forum 💕! It's been a long time since I did that so I honestly don't remember much, but I'm pretty sure I just followed this tutorial posted by Snailsoft on the forum:

You will have to download several files and apps, I think all of them are included in his post so you can download them directly from there. There's also a video you can follow to go through the process:alice_waai:

Oh wow, Yumeiro Cast! I remember playing the game back when it was live (my most vivid memory is playing You&Meでwave non stop for some reason LMAO) and then being bitter when it shut down... I think it slipped my mind that it had gotten an offline version in the first place, so reading this thread and finding this feels like I found a treasure!

Thank you so much for the effort towards saving the game from being lost media! ❤️

Truly do appreciate you all for getting and uploading YCast! It really means a lot, and can't wait to meet my favorites again!

Though, I was wondering if anyone else has issues opening the app? Tried it on my phone (S24+ - Android 16), and on MuMuPlayer and neither seem to be working for me, would always force close immediately. It appears to install fine, however.

Perhaps some tweaking is necessary to accommodate the newer OS as it's only intended for 10~14.
I'm not familiar with Android emulators - can you change OS versions on it?
