I tried inspecting the page but didn't find much, or maybe I didn't search well enough lol I'm not well-versed in that.I never did something like that but I want to try something... Can you send the example link of the game, otome? (◍•ᴗ•◍)

To be honest that'w how I found this game, I searched jp games using renpy on vndboof the only thing I found out is the game using renpy engine
Tried this guide but it didn't work because the game needed to be saved in wayback machine but that feature doesn't work for the game. Also trying another browser game from freem, still zero result![]()
Browser games on itchio can be downloaded using itchio's windows app I think.Reading this thread I suddenly remember this game: A Very Splendid Otome Game (that's the title, really) https://vndb.org/v13165
I played it years ago before the hosting site died, but webarchive successfully preserved it. It's a very simple game anyway. Basic html pages and flash (swf) games are much easier to save compared to other game engines I think.
There are so many browser games on itchio I also wish to save but haven't found a way to do it :(
For kinda new games with active developers, such as 転生うさぎは恋をする above, you've got better chances just asking them for a downloadable version. If they decline, oh well it might sting, but if they agree, then you've got yourself an archive that's much better than digging through the web files or building it from the ground up with web resources.
