Hi eveyone! My name is Diego and im an old member from different preservation communities around the globe. The reason I'm making this calling is because after the news about the shutdown for the 3DS/WiiU eShop, I've been leading a Ps Vita project to prevent any of its software to get lost in time.
I come from VideoGame Preservation Collective, our platform works as a nexus for lot of different videogaming preservation groups and different people from the community.
Our main target is to keep documenting, dumping and saving every single videogame avaliable around, and this time, I wanted to take a chance to keep reminding the community about how the preservation on Sony Playstation Vita is going on and which parties are involved.
The reason I'm asking for help to the Otome community, is because some of the games we are missing to preserve Otomes that not only have become quiet expensive, but have been pulled from the PS Store.
The first one was Genji Koi Emaki [PCSG-00619 VLJM-35234] but we already bought in Europe a copy that wasn't that expensive and we are waiting to obtain a dump in NpNpDRM format and scan it.
The real problem is related to Shinsouhan Heart no Kuni no Alice: Wonderful Wonder World [PCSG-00614 VLJM-35227]
This game remains super expensive and its being difficult to find users that could assist into obtaining a clean dump for preservation purpose.
I mean clean because I need to insist in this situation: These games were already released long ago by the piracy scene in an old backup format that is useful to play, but, not enough useful for preservation purpose. We are trying to provide clean documentation and data for the future generations and we try to make sure none of our work is related to piracy purposes.
I compiled and updated this list in the last weeks. It contains every single piece of software from PS Vita remaining unavaliable and undocumented, sorted by the region each game belongs, and the media source. Let me show you this:
