This may not be the solution anyone wants to hear, but it seems to be exclusively available through DMM, so if anyone wants it badly enough they should be able to make an account there and buy it. My US card worked to buy through Japanese DLsite a while back, so DMM may be worth a shot if waiting isn't an acceptable option.
