I don't want to accuse Ces, who has already given back to many in this community. But I'm really confused when I scan the link on VirusTotal
that gives me a warning about malware. Would anyone help? Is that a false positive? Or does anyone know about something like this? I'm really a noob when it comes to this thing.

It's false; VirusTotal sucks. I thought they were the most reliable. To test it, try re-uploading the file on Google Drive and scanning the URL again; it detects nothing malicious. They have a problem with Pixeldrain. Sorry for rambling in the conclusion; it's fine. VirusTotal just makes me paranoid. I should be more careful and look it up more.

I think you're misunderstanding how VirusTotal works
What you're doing is just scanning the URL. If you put a link, VirusTotal will only scan the link's domain (check the site's IP, type of website etc). It shows the same result even if you put in only "pixeldrain.com". It does not scan the file(s) from that link.

Afaik VT has no option to scan files directly from links. You always have to download first then upload it to VT - this action...of course, poses a risk but that's the thing that always comes with piracy.

You can read this and this for a better understanding. The Github one is a good example of a "safe" link that leads to an "unsafe" file.

I'm going to be honest with you it hurt a little to be accused of uploading malware
still, I know it's stressful when an antivirus says there is something wrong
