I heard Yami no Koe I and II don't install on Win7 systems without some workaround so I was hoping someone could find this version to see if it works better. Thank you very much.

I am sorry I don't have the requested title but I did want to point something out here. I am running Windows 8.1 on default settings with Japanese locale and I can personally confirm that running the original first and second games are a breeze. Just mount the image, install and play. Heck I am impressed that Black Cyc had the far thinking of making their games full screen even in the year 2001 unlike some other studio games where in the name of full screen you would get a small window for the game and huge black borders on all four sides.

Either way whoever told you that there are issues, might either be misinformed or simply pulling your leg. Just make sure to download the Special Edition of the first game which adds voices, scene variations and various bonus events and you will have the exact same thing as the 8.1 edition that you are requesting.

But that's just my 2 cents. :)
