Recognizable VA

hi-hi! do you guys ever start a new otome game or drama CD completely blind —or maybe just anime in general, and within seconds of a character speaking you instantly go recognize the VA? who is that va/seiyuu whose voice you can recognize literally anywhere without even checking the cast list? For me its tsudaken, his voice is really disctint and very easy to recognize (plus super attractive )

I have many that come to mind but mainly Hirakawa Daisuke lol, When I hear him in any kind of media I know that there's a high chance the character he plays is fucking off his mind lol
He's got such a recognizable and nice voice also!
Midorikawa Hikaru as well but sometimes it less recognizable than Daisuke's voice.
Also not a man but I just love her but Ohara Sayaka, I'm just so happy when I hear her voice! I decided to play infinity Nikki in Japanese just because she had a part in there lol

I'm good at recognizing voice actors, but here are the main ones I'd recognize in a split second: Daisuke Hirakawa, Tsuda kenjirou, Mamoru Miyano, Kaito Ishikawa, KENN. I really like Daisuke Namikawa-sama, too, but he's so skilled at altering his voice that there are times I fail to recognize him. Still, even if I don't always spot him in every anime, I definitely recognize his voice in otome games.

for me it's furukawa makoto and saitou soma, their voices and tones are so recognizable i could tell it in just a second

Takehito Koyasu, Yuichi Nakamura, and Kenjiro Tsuda are the most recognizable VAs for me. They have great voices. ( ◠‿◠ )

I recognize the OG ones like Midorikawa Hikaru, Narita Ken, Hirakawa Daisuke, Noriaki Sugiyama, Yusa Koji etc in an instant, but I am a complete noob when it comes to fresh blood

You can recognize popular anime voice actors right away, can't you! If I had to pick one, I'd probably say Shotaro Morikubo. He has such a distinctive voice. Hiro Shimono is also really easy to recognize! And Koji Yusa's voice immediately comes to mind too.
But I also love it when a voice actor plays a character so differently that I can't even tell it's them! It's always so impressive and makes me appreciate their acting skills even more.

Yes, I love to play this game with myself. How many VA can I recognize?

For me the easiest are probably Tsudaken like you said, Furukawa Makoto, Kaji Yuki, several others I don't feel like making a long list lol... It's fun to guess but this has spoiled a few games for me when 2 characters are voiced by the same VA and the player isn't supposed to immediately notice. I got too much practice with otome games and now I notice too much!!

...but I still play the guessing game. It's fun.

Agree with Tsudaken lol

I can recognize a lot of male seiyuu. Like Fukuyama Jun, Kimura Ryouhei, Shimazaki Nobunaga, Uchiyama Kouki etc. Sometimes I can't distinguish between Furukawa Makoto and Eguchi Takuya tho lol. As for seiyuu from R18 otome drama CDs, I remember being startled when hearing Sawa Manaka (Nakazawa Masatomo)'s voice in Haikyuu!! Lol, what are you doing in a sports anime?!

I can easily recognize the voices of Hikaru Midorikawa and Takehito Koyasu.

Totally agree on Hirakawa Daisuke, he has such a unique voice and sweet voice... praying to god he voices more cds or otomes!!

As for otome CDs specifically, im in so deep that I can pretty much recognise them all LMAO I get surprised (and excited) when I listen to a cd and its a VA I dont know, bc ya girl has been around the BLOCK... dont know if this is a good thing or not lmaoo
