Problem with TamuTamusu-ru (たむたむす～る)

Hello! Im having a issue with trying to run Tamutamusu-ru version 5 (the version bundled with Love Death Final) on Windows 11. When I try to run the original Japanese exe there’s an error pop-up that I can’t read because of the fact it’s in mojibake (I have a Japanese language pack installed and things like the LoveDeathFinal installer have been in regular Japanese text)
Ive had more success with running it using the unofficial English patch exe. However, I cannot get past the title screen without the program closing itself. Does anyone know a fix for this? Should I switch to a different version?

Did you try running it via Locale Emulator?

Also your Locale in Windows languages/region should be set to Japan.

I did install locale emulator, but when I try to open the exe with it nothing happens. I will try setting my locale to Japan to see if that works.

I switched my region to Japan, and while they didn’t fox the mojibake issue, I did get another popup that I’m pretty sure is saying that there is no dvd inserted. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find a working download for a nodvd fix for this game (most of them were dead, including Japanese sources) though I plan to try other alternative solutions to this problem tomorrow. The very worst case scenario is that I’ll have to get my hands on an actual disc for this game. Sorry for the inconvenience!
