Please tell me an underrated anime that is really good!

Great list — I'm especially happy to see Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru and Shōwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjū mentioned. Both deserve much more attention.

Also, Gakkou Gurashi! is much better when people watch it without reading too much about it beforehand. That first episode is unforgettable.

- ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. – A slow-burn political mystery with a unique atmosphere and excellent world-building.
- House of Five Leaves – A quiet historical drama with complex characters and a very distinctive art style.
- Kemono no Souja Erin – An emotional fantasy series with strong character development and a well-built world.
- Princess Principal – A stylish spy anime set in an alternate-history London, with action, mystery, and a great cast.
- Run with the Wind – Definitely one of the best sports dramas, even for people who do not usually watch sports anime.
- The Great Passage – A surprisingly engaging and heartfelt story about creating a dictionary.
- ID: INVADED – A psychological sci-fi mystery with an interesting concept and strong suspense.

Every time "underrated anime" is brought up, my mind instantly goes to Kamisama no Memochou. It's a 2012 seasonal that was what feels like lost to time, but I think about it often. I really enjoyed it but I'm also just someone who particularly loves mystery and crime drama, lol.

Don't know if it's "underrated" or moreso just forgotten about these days, but Durarara!! is still super good...
It peaked in popularity around 2014-2016, so you don't see much of these days, but there's a lot of straggler fans hanging around still. I've heard the LNs are even better.

some of my ride or dies:
-Natsume Yuujinchou (saw that someone already wrote, its just so good.)
-Big Windup (baseball coming of age anime awesome awesome awesome. so much development within the characters.)
-Boukyaku Battery (another baseball hope i dont seem too baseball crazy cuz im not but this anime is really funny and animation quality is so good.)
-Nanbaka (silly prisoners really funny)
-Kengan Ashura (this might be popular I actually dont know but i loved it a lot surprisingly)
