physical manga or online manga?

I prefer physical, but to be honest I have serious space issues... So most of the time I read digital (especially manga magazines), but I buy my favourite ones physical later. Sometimes I take risks and buy unknown manga in physical format as well, thinking that "worst case I can still sell it if I end up not linking it".

I used to read physical manga more often, but I was always running out of space to store them. Digital manga is much easier to manage, so now I mostly read digitally.

I also prefer reading online. Then, if I really like a work, I buy it as a collector's item when it comes out as a book :)
 
Online mangas are updated very quickly and come in many genres. I keep the physical comic books for my collection. However, I don't have much space left to store books at home. :ROFLMAO:
 
I've been reading manga since back when paper books were the only option, so I've always preferred physical books. I used to have a huge collection—really, a LOT of books—but I've gradually been making the transition to reading them online.

Every time I've had to move because of changes in my life stage, packing and moving all those books has taken so much time. They're incredibly heavy and such a hassle to deal with, so I've had no choice but to get rid of many of them. 😢

Even so, I still keep my absolute favorites in physical form, and I still buy physical books today.

I also still have a bunch of books at my parents' house that I left there, and I keep thinking, "I really need to do something about those…" But somehow, years have gone by and I still haven't. 😂💦

I used to buy physical manga in bookstore, but now the book tax in my country make the books more expensive. So, I prefer to read online more.
 
I like physical but digital seems more convenient and accessible these days. I've gotten used to digital version, but I don't like that most digital versions you can't really own it.
 
I buy so that I read it again, when it comes back to me but normally online, some of the stories I read haven't been translated so online is easier.

I absolutely prefer physical manga, but we have space issues...
So I buy physical comic books that I really want to own, and I tend to read the rest online.
Also, untranslated works are sometimes purchased from overseas e-book sites.
 
As I am used to reading on my phone or computer, I definitely prefer digital formats. It often offers a better reading experience than certain print editions, where the paper eventually yellows and panels in the middle are frequently cut off by the binding.
Unfortunately, however, not all works have a digital version available. I sincerely hope we can reach a point where both versions are released almost systematically, so that no one misses out.
 
Almost always digital for me. There's just a wider variety of options and I dont have a lot of space for physical books. I also prefer reading it them in one long strip on digital readers. If I like something enough, I do try to get the physical version.
 
I mostly read manga in japanese for studying purposes nowadays so those i read digitally for easier vocab look ups but also because importing them is way too expensive. Other than that I like to limit myself to only physically buying manga (and anything else really) if I already now I love it so I usually read digital first. I dont want space on my shelf taken up by things I dont enjoy.
