With the Prince of Tennis otome game getting an official English release this year, I started to think of other otome titles based on anime. I grew up loving shoujo anime, so getting to see some of my favorite characters in otoge was very fun :)

I've played the first Fushigi Yuugi otome, as well as the games for Ouran Koukou Host Club, Vampire Knight and Nana. I played the Utena game too, though I don't think it's technically otome. I'm also a huge fan of the Prince of Tennis games, as expected lol

I'm familiar with the King of Fighters "Days of Memories" DS game, and some doujin games from popular anime (like Doki Doki v Alice Panic, a Katekyo Hitman doujin game) as well

I'd like to see some thoughts about it. Do you like otoge based in anime? If you do, what anime would you like to see as an otome game?

OMG :))) I really like Prince of Tennis anime, it's one of the things I've watched more than twice, I never knew there were otome games based on it! I'll defininety check them out!!

It's been a long time since the last time I watched any anime so I dont remember much, but I do recall there being some series with interesting settings that I would like to see an otoge based on. The only questionable thing is if the game makes the characters OOC, otherwise, it'll be great!

Tho its most of the time shorter compared to a full on otome game, its fun playing ones based on an anime! I enjoyed the Hana Yori Dango one and would love to try Vampire Knight as well! It's fun because i can romance my fave characters lol
I'd love to see a modern anime get one because the closest we got in recent years is just hamefura lol

"The Prince of Tennis" was a groundbreaking otome game, wasn't it!
Moving from manga to anime and then to a game seems to be quite a high hurdle.
Since an anime adaptation of "Hanazakari no Kimitachi e" was recently produced, I thought it might make for a good game, but it turns out it already is one.
As for "The King of Fighters," there was a title called "The King of Fighters for Girls." They really put a lot of effort into it, but it's already over—what a shame.

Another TeniPuri fan here! I actually played the games before watching the anime. I'd love a Naruto otome game; I just love Kakashi, and there are several other characters I find attractive

I haven't played the Hana Yori Dango one, but I'm quite curious about it! Maybe I should take a look.
It'd be nice to see modern anime getting some otoge! But I think newer shoujo titles have less LIs than it used to have, with more focused stories

I don't keep up with anime releases nowadays, so learning that HanaKimi got an anime this year is news to me lol
It had an otoge but I think it was mobile? I prefer console/PC full releases tbh

Oh I know this one! It looked so good as well! That's the sad thing with live service/mobile titles, they go away too soon :(

I'm also a fan of The Prince of Tennis! I've watched the anime, read the manga, and played some mobile games—kinda sad they've shut down.
I've only seen the Vampire Knight anime but I love the songs so maybe I should try the games. I've also watched and played Amnesia.
I really wish Piofiore: Fated Memories would get an anime—the story looks so interesting. I heard it even has a stage play
There are still a lot of games I'd love to see turned into anime! :)

OMG, I have a massive wishlist! Honestly, any anime with a high concentration of hot guys would be perfect. I'm talking about shonen-adjacent titles like Kuroko's Basketball, Free!, Jujutsu Kaisen (Gojo-sensei is just 🫠), or even Demon Slayer.
If we're talking specifically about shoujo manga/anime adaptations, I think Romantic Killer would be such a blast as a game! Tamon's B-Side would also be top-tier!! For some older titles, Earl and Fairy would be lovely. I've also been following the recent anime Observation Log of a Self-Proclaimed Villainess' Fiancé—though that one is strictly 1v1, so maybe not a traditional multi-route otoge...
Seriously, I could go on forever, my brain is just overflowing with ideas at this point!
(My English isn't great, so I'm not 100% sure if the AI translations for these titles are correct. Please feel free to let me know if any of the names are wrong!)

Omg prince of tennis otome was definitely my favorite!
I jumped in happiness when I found out about it. So I think it's great to have otome games based on anime.
