Honestly, I'm not quite sure why they said it's a 'now or never' situation since the first game got Casper's VA after release. Sure, REMNANTS is a bigger game + more voice actors, but I just don't see how it couldn't be done if the demand is there. There are at least ten disappointed people in the comments on Kickstarter and I am one of them.

So the thing is that the first game's voice acting happened BECAUSE the DLC (beyond the bet) kickstarter reached the voice acting stretch goal.
It's a post-release priority hence releasing two years after the game.
It's the same mindset with this one but with this time they want everyone in the cast to be voiced that's like at least 6 characters hence being way more expensive and time-consuming. The first game only having two characters to be voiced was pretty lenient but this time it's understandably a crazy goal

Yeah, that's what I mean. (╥‸╥) It's far more of a headache, but it's not like it's impossible. If they get more headroom/time after release, I don't see why not. Maybe if we beg hard enough. /j

the devs chatted a lot about this topic, unfortunately they're not interested in another kickstarter solely for voice acting. One is that they're always heading onwards their next project (not wanting to stick around too long), Two there's kinda no rewards they can give out and that defeats the whole purpose of pledges.
Three if we try to compromise for any other platform to raise funds it'll probably be annoying (like person A saying no but then person B keeps insisting that kind of jargon)

BUT IM SO HAPPY WE REACHED THE BEACH EPISODE FINAL SURGE CAME IN CLUTCH
