Opinions on spoilers

Spoilers aren't a big deal for me. In terms of plot spoilers, I always go for the LI I like the most at first, and don't follow the recommended play order ever so sometimes I end up playing the most spoiler-y route first and then know what's going on in all the other routes. It's actually sometimes kind of fun, because I already know lol. When it comes to CG spoilers, that doesn't bother me too much either, because just because I know something happens in a CG doesn't mean I know how it's going to get there. I saw THE CAGE spoiler in Amnesia before I ever played the game, so I knew it was coming but not why. Spoilers in any media don't really bother me, though i do sometimes wish I could erase the memories to be able to experience it for the first time again lol

I don't really care if I get spoiled lol, in fact, I actively look for spoilers.

Usually, before jumping into any game, I'll go hunt for spoilers to judge whether it's actually worth my time.

When it comes to CGs, even if I stumble upon a massive spoiler CG, like the ending or a character dying and stuff, it just lets me know what I'm getting into, whether it'll annoy me or make me more hyped. Plus, just seeing a CG doesn't immediately give away the context or how the story builds up to that point, so yeah lol.

As for accidentally playing a route that spoils all the other routes? Just like YummyYum said, I find it absolutely hilarious playing through those lol. Watching the characters lose their minds or suffer while I already know exactly what's going down is just too much fun xDddd

I don't play games looking at spoilers from the very beginning.

I play without knowing anything, and then, when I get really curious, I look up spoilers and play the rest.

Even if I didn't want to see them but ended up seeing spoilers from the very beginning, I don't really mind.

It doesnt bother me that much as long as its not a game that i've been eagerly waiting long to play. Im the type of player who prefers discovering the story on my own instead of seeing spoilers everywhere. So if I end up seeing spoilers for a game im hyped about... Well tbh i feel a little disappointed :foreveralone:

I love playing a route raw, no walk through, no guide, no spoiler, no protection 😭 when I got spoiled for the plot twist in birishuana it made me less motivated to complete the route because the fun of playing is discovering plot twist yourself 🥲

Honestly, I really don't like spoilers, especially for games. I don't even want to see CGs anywhere because once I see them, it kind of ruins the excitement for me. It makes the experience feel a little less thrilling. I also try really hard not to spoil anyone else when I play games. I do talk about them with friends sometimes, but I try to be careful... even though a few things still slip out occasionally hahaha. But I really do try to be mindful about it (◡ ω ◡)

I don't really like spoilers, but sometimes a tiny bit of spoiler is what gets me interested in a game. When I'm trying to decide whether to play something, I might look up a few minor spoilers. However, once I've decided to play, I avoid all further info about the game. I want to experience the story firsthand without knowing major twists or reveals. So for me, a little spoiler can be a hook, but too much ruins the fun.

I have a love-hate relationship with spoilers. Sometimes when I get bored with the plot I need something to draw me back in buttttttt then I get mad at myself cause now I can't enjoy the plot twists in the story 🤦‍♀️.

Spoilers don't really bother me that much, especially for games I want to play that either I can't play them yet because I haven't been able to buy them or because I'm busy. But I try to avoid major spoilers as much as possible so that my enthusiasm for playing them doesn't wear off

For me, I'm very okay with spoiler! at some case it was increasing my motivation to finish the game u.u

Sometimes, I even checking the CG first before playing the game

It does'nt bother me, you can see in the cgs what kind of plot you are getting with that LIs and curious how did it get to that point.

It depends on the what exactly was spoilered. If it was a big plot moment, there is a big chance I will not continue reading. I recently saw a spoiler about one of LIs from the novel I was reading, and now every time he is on screen, I can't concentrate on what he is saying. It's alsovery frustrating to know something and wait untill all the characters see this too. Like in detectives, when you know the culprit, but everyone is still guessing wrong.

I don't like any spoilers because I want to experience it fresh. It's much less fun if I know already what will happen.

Generally speaking, I don't like spoilers. But if I happen to come across one, it usually doesn't stop me from continuing to play or read.
Every now and then, if I'm not sure which direction the plot is going, I prefer to read a spoiler so I'm mentally prepared for what's coming ;). Okay, sometimes it upsets me so much that I have to take a break, but I still finish the story in the end.
