No idea if this is the right place to post this, but for the life of me I can't get this game working.

I've tried to install it like I normally do with Japanese games:

1. I mount the .iso file / .mds file
2. I run the setup as admin (with Japanese locale using Locale emulator)
3. The installation runs up to 100%
4. Right after I finish the install, there's a popup which asks to open the readme file, then after I close that I get another popup asking to uninstall the game.
5a. If I say yes to the second popup it uninstalls the game and I can try to install it again.
5b. If I ignore the 2nd popup and check the install directory, it seems like everything is there except the .exe to actually start the game.

Here's what I've tried so far.
1. Restarted my PC
2. Shut down the PC and turn it back on, this seems to work when restarting doesn't in some cases.
3. Tried to re-download the .iso
4. Tried to run the setup file in compatibility mode for Windows 8
5. Installing the game in a different drive.
6. Changing the default install directory name to something in English.
7. Use WinCDEmu to mount instead of the built in one on Windows.
8. I tried to run the trial version from the developer's website, that appears to work just fine.

I'm using a 64-bit Windows 10 PC. It's a fresh install from about a week ago and it's up to date AFAIK. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
