is the game constantly crashing for anyone else?

Yup, crashes when saving, crashes shortly after the game begins, crashes when trying to change config... completely unplayable for me, hope it gets fixed, seems to be a good game.

Works completly stable for me.
Windows 7, Unicode set to Jap., Regional Settings not changed, Game was moved to my external HDD.

Same totally unplayable issue here too, seems like an error with the game accessing its own config/save file. Any menu change (opening Load, opening Config) cannot be exited. Game also hangs permanently on a whitescreen transition after short progress beyond the start. Been doing this for 15 years across a few hundred games and this kind of bizarre error is definitely a first.

Create "Save" folder? I think the crashing problem exist because the game can't save. It didn't find the "Save" folder so it crash. CMIIW

i have the "Save" folder, it still crashes. it crashes randomly; sometime as soon i start, sometime middle of the dialog or changing scene etc. like previous post said it is unplayable. hopefully a patch fixes it soon.

So why, then, does it feel so unbearably sad?
