I'm trying to get this game to run:

For some reason whenever I try to get it to start the only thing that happens is I get a black and white screen in the game window where the black part goes downward and away and after that it's just a plain white screen and it just stays that way. The only way to close it is to use the task manager to end the task, where it tells me the program isn't responding and after clicking "end now" I get a small window saying "AGE_System is not responding". Is there any way to fix this so the game can work?
