Are there any otome characters that you find relatable? It can be the MC, a LI or even a side character!

I think both Mozu and Scarecrow from Bustafellows are very relatable! I'm a bit awkward and nerdy, so I saw a lot of myself in them, specially Mozu's reserved personality and difficulty communicating. I also identify with Yua from 7scarlet a fair bit: kinda clumsy, loves games, and protective of her friends :)

As for relatable MCs, although it's been a long time since I played it (and I need to revisit it!), Alice from Heart no Kuni no Alice was the one MC I felt was the most like me. She is a bit cynical, but very level-headed and assertive. She is sarcastic, and even a bit self-deprecating at times, but she's funny and practical too!

Hinagiku - Illusion of Itehari's MC

The moment she picked up Yashiro and brought him home and tried to figure out how to keep him around. Each time characters kept saying "wow so now you pick up stray people and not just stray cats" (or something like that), I thought "yup she's just like me", each time she got scolded for it...

Paschalia (Radiant Tale) and Dazai Mei (Charade Maniacs), I usually have a kind nature (and I'm quite easy to fool), part of them wanting to help others and eventually forgetting about themselves is something I can identify with. Part of them being genuinely passionate about what they like is something I can identify with.
This reminds me of when I played TOUCHSTARVED, Ais asked me what kind of animal I liked, I said "dog," part of him laughing and saying that I liked attention made me feel exposed.

im about to expose myself really badly but for me its the ceo of
Mitsumori.Ichiya.full.3007319.jpg
boyfailures right here ... which is so funny cause ichiya pissed me off to an unimaginable degree in the common route and then i was like ok maybe hes fine when i played the other guys ... but then i got to his own route and lol . lmao even . i was so distraught over how much of his way of thinking and his life experiences were soo similar to mine and it annoyed me cause wdym THIS guy of all people is the one thats just like me fr fr ...!!!!

Il from Café Enchanté and Mathias from Virche Evermore are quite relatable to me in the aspect of them being awkward shut-in pampered, spending time locked in their rooms indulging their hobbies, and needing to be escorted by someone to avoid becoming a social disaster when they're out. And a touch of Reiji Sakamaki in terms of being quite strict and rigid about organization and always cleaning everything. When I'm not scolding, I'm cleaning even things that don't belong to me, like , my siblings' action figures, stack of books and PCs, and my mother's doll collection.

Now, a protagonist who I would relate... I really can't think of anyone... maybe Miku from HanaKare for being more withdrawn and always prioritizing others before ourselves, and Aprose from Mistonia's Hope when it comes to household chores—we can do everything except cook XD

well... i'm also part of the socially anxious gang lol eba from club suicide (i also have complex feelings about my own art and creating in general), luciole from genso manège, mathis from virche... all kind of relatable </3 maybe mozu to a certain degree, as well.

as for mcs, i don't know... ringo is noticeably similar to eba, so i'd say her!

If I really think about it, I always find myself identifying with some aspect of Bustafellows' characters; they seem very realistic to me. But as you say, identifying more with Mozu or Scarecrow is inevitable.
I also identify quite a bit with Ran from UN: Logical and his desire not to be alone or abandoned, so much so that he even emotionally isolates himself from others. I also identify with Ryuki from Cupid Parasite because of this need for his family's approval, although in the game they take it to a rather comical extreme.

Dante from Piofiore is relatable to me rn because I, too, have mountains of work to do like does in way too many scenes💀
I mean, as a procrastinator, I can relate to that lmao I've been putting off some work lately...

Haha, I'm a bit like Il as well! He's a very genuine character, and I can relate to indulging a bit too much in my hobbies sometimes (and even neglecting socializing a bit). As for being a strict person, I think it's quite common when you have younger siblings lol there's always something to scold them about ;b
Just imagining how hard Reiji has it trying to keep the Sakamaki's in line... not surprising that he's a bit crazy, I would be too!

I also relate to scarecrow!! And also to the mc from tengoku struggle, i have read that a few people are annoyed by her but they just don't get her like i do 😭

The heroine Amano Hina and the male lead Kisaki Tougo from Blackish House. Both of them are a bit like me in that we're sort of "empty shell" types. The one I relate to more is probably Tougo. It's because he feels too much and overthinks things, which ends up making him unable to actually feel emotions, or rather, he pretends not to have them. I'm the same way with that kind of avoidant personality.

Sayaka from 9 R.I.P. I have always been obsessed with the paranormal and had a hard time making friends because the other girls did not care about those topics. That part was so accurate and relatable to me 😅
