i knew that link was gonna die soon cause hes been shooting out DMCAs for the past year on various sites but i didn't think he would actually go this far and make an account on F95zone too. whewww...

from my personal experience, the most overprotective creators are usually the ones with the most mediocre works (they're usually very good at making very interesting thumbnails, great looking renders or great camera angle but the animation is either stiff, repetitive, or templatey) and since the works rarely leaked, we have to spend some money to know it's not that good actually..

The ones i ended up subbing are usually creators whose works are usually availably leaked anyway but i just like their works and work ethics (professional/release in timely manner/good communication)

Lol, it's always the most hypocritical clowns doing that too. They're using likenesses and even voicelines from vtubers and using koikatsu rather than doing any original work, and acting like they aren't ripping off other people, getting sanctimonious about protecting "their" "work"?
generally I would fully agree with this but he is probably one of the more talented Kk creators especially for how frequent he is putting stuff out of good quality. I will admit though its a little ridiculous how much effort he has been putting into stopping leaks, I'm sure he gains plenty of subs normally looking at how popular his videos get.

It doesn't seem normal for people who pirate content to criticize authors for protecting their work. They sound like spoiled children complaining just because they can't watch it for free.

I'm a beginner and don't have much knowledge, so I don't know how to access videos from text. I think they're using strings to avoid being watched, so if anyone can tell me how, I'd appreciate it if you could let me know via DM or private chat.

taking down links and all it's fine, but he can do it without resorting to gaslight-ish phrases like "demotivating me to create", "please stop trying to kill me as a video creator." this is kind of childish tactic as well. I don't remember that cobby, for example, was crashing out like munz or trying to gaslight leakers like malcony, he's just taking down the links and that's it.

What free? You are willing to pay for internet, as well as willing to buy/subscribe data storage GB size mp4s. And said 80% of these "authors" are using MMD (or worst, Koikatu) plug, play, record and sell. What value is there for these "author" bring that 20 other of the same could. It's a discussion thread for a reason.

In fact you're right, we should actually be supporting the actual authors that made the MMD models and Dance data.

I don't see what's wrong with creators protecting their own work. The fact that their copyright claims might not hold up, or that the quality of their work may not be high, is not a reasonable reason for us to pirate their content.
