If this is true something will need to be done about Cloudflare in particular thinking they can be the internet's moral police, this wouldn't be the first time they do this shit.

I didn't know about the metadata. that is an interesting find. The video is playable on VLC, but some video players like potplayer do not play the video too well. I have noticed that some recent videos from my collection do not want to play on Android video players when they are accessed from a NAS. I had to reprocess some videos into MP4 for them to play.

AV1 works excellent on VLC, but phones is a hit or miss, VLC for Android plays it without issue unless you have a low budget phone like the Galaxy A70 (it has an input lag with AV1 videos)

I find that very hard to believe considering that Iwara has gone down and went back up for a day. So cloudflare decided to boot them from their server but changed their mind after a day then changed it back? Some common sense needs to be applied here

I did say to take it with a big grain of salt. It's not like it would be impossible for this to happen either because as I said CF has been known to pull off this kind of stuff (Gelbooru's admin has been complaining about it recently for example), but you're right to say there's a significantly better chance it's just plain old technical issues considering Iwara's history with those, and I hope it is because the alternative would mean a purge of the site's contents to please CF and the server host.

Considering how long its been down and the whole shit show going on with Gelbooru rn, I suspected this from the start and honestly find it more likely than you may think. I don't really see it as a coincidence that it's happening at the same time, there's even some artwork on gelbooru that's completely inaccessible due to this currently.

considering their server host is dogshit and doesnt work half the time and probably located in a third world country, I doubt they even care about cloudflare or whats hosted on their servers
