I'm not following the whole discussion, but I've seen some comments about PikPak and thought I'd just add my opinion.
From the perspective of a downloader with a free account it is probably the worst hoster there is right now. Unless I misunderstood something, it requires you to create an account and install a download client, you then have to import the file to your free account with only 6GB storage and only then can you save the file to your device and the download speeds vary from extremely slow to just barely acceptable and after every download you gotta clear out the file from your account to import the next one and so on. Compare that to pixeldrain or gofile where you can get pretty fast speeds as a free user with no account and the only hindrance is the download limit which is fairly easily bypassed if you know how. At least from the perspective of a free downloader that showcases pretty clearly what the preference would be.
I've never uploaded to PikPak so not sure what's more convenient with it. I've been using pixeldrain with a free account and it allows for files up to 20GB, which is plenty enough, offers unlimited storage, lets you set up folders and sort stuff and despite it saying files expire after 120 days they haven't really for me, not sure if it's because people still access them or what. Uploading is a simple drag and drop into the browser and it's the same for gofile with you not even needing an account. So given all that I can almost not imagine a reason for how PikPak can be more convenient as an uploader, because what more convenience is there to get? So I'm genuinely asking, what makes it better for some of you guys?
Most PikPak links I've seen are just very large, mostly poorly sorted and labeled collections that I tend to just ignore because the interface is way too much of a hassle to figure out what new stuff is in the links. I can't even copy the filenames from PikPak links to simply compare. You can't translate stuff either directly in the browser. It lets you preview the video a little bit at least. But yeah I'm just ignoring most PikPak links and before I'd pay for that I'd just pay the creators directly to support them.
