Bro, if its the actual mega link, either remove it, or encode it in base64. Follow house rules so creators won't remove their links as a handful of them lurk here

I've been here for a fair bit, but I've never understood why exactly we hide links behind base64 and the thing where you have to like it to see them? Does it prevent the links from getting taken down by the creators or something?

Not against it, I'm sure it serves some purpose, and if it doesn't I don't really care, just super curious why we do it.

I have just converted the entire ENF album from .rar to .zip, so now everyone should be able to either download entire files or just the vids they want.

I'm not entirely sure but I'd guess that it makes it harder for authors & trolls to find out that content is being shared here, I.e. it makes takedowns less likely but I could be wrong about that, shrug.

it hides it from search results and webcrawlers for artists to simply google the name, links, etc to know to dmca it or kill it on some sort of way. otherwise if they can't then they try other measures for legit ppl who pay to go through hoops to download and share to discourage leaks
