Hi everyone!

I'm still kind of a beginner when it comes to otome-related works, so I'd love to hear your recommendations!

I'm especially interested in manga and audio works, but I'm open to different genres and styles. What are some of your favorite titles, and what did you enjoy about them?

I'd really appreciate any recommendations you have!

For manga, I'd highly recommend Kin-iro no Corda! It originally started as an otome game, but the manga is also really good and has a wonderful cast of characters. It has a nice mix of romance, music, and character drama, and I especially love the dynamic between the heroine and the different love interests.

If you enjoy the classic otome game atmosphere, I think it's definitely worth checking out! 🎻

I recommend titles like *Starry Sky* and its "Constellation Boyfriends."

I know you said you were open to anything, but a couple of questions to hopefully get a better idea of what you might enjoy:

  • If you're newer to the scene, I'm guessing you're looking for games that are either localized into English or were made in English? Games that don't play unless you change your region, text hookers and translation apps can be a little much to juggle in the beginning... but figured I'd ask
  • Just to narrow it down a little, are there any themes or tropes you really like in your stories? Or anything you really DON'T like?
  • Sometimes it's easier to get into games with voice acting, but there are some really great games that are text only. Any preferences either way?
