Hello everyone! I'm not a new user; I've been here for a while, but I wanted to revive my activity on the forum with my favorite gaming section: otome games. I wanted to get back into it (because I didn't have enough space on my computer to collect otome games before), but I also wanted to try console otome games, especially for PS2 and PS Vita. I only played the Diabolik Lovers games on the Vita (and never finished them), but I also wanted to try something new with my favorite themes: gothic and supernatural. Any recommendations for games related to these themes on either of these consoles?

Hello!
When I think of Gothic, the first thing that comes to mind is the dark gothic fantasy BLACK WOLVES SAGA.
As for the supernatural, I'd probably say 7'scarlet. It's a suspense mystery otome game.
If you enjoy the DIABOLIK LOVERS series, you might also be interested in BLACK WOLVES SAGA👍

Thank you very much for the suggestion! I didn't know about the existence of Black Wolves Saga and thanks to your comment I'm learning more with your recommendations, I think I'm going to expand my list once again ^^

Welcome back to the forum! The Vita is honestly the ultimate otome machine, so you made a great choice going back to it.
+1 to Black Wolves Saga, that's a fantastic recommendation for a dark aesthetic!
If you love Gothic and Supernatural themes, you absolutely HAVE to check out Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly for the PS Vita. It takes place in a creepy, mysterious mansion and the whole atmosphere is incredibly beautiful but dark. The story is a supernatural mystery that will definitely keep you hooked.
Another great Vita one is Code: Realize - Guardian of Rebirth. It leans a bit more into Steampunk/Victorian, but it features characters like vampires and alchemists, so it definitely scratches that supernatural itch.
(Also, totally understandable about dropping Diabolik Lovers, it's a very specific taste and can be a lot! 😂) Happy gaming!
