Jealous & Possessive MLs: Yay or Nay? 👀

I like characters who are possessive, but rather than those who openly display jealousy or possessiveness, I prefer the type who acts gently while secretly harboring possessiveness and intense love.

I like it a lot. I deliberately only look for that kind of character. Obsessive characters are great, but adding a scheming trait makes them even better.

yesss exactly!! 😭 i love when the jealousy comes from him being completely in love with her rather than wanting to control her. the clingy "pay attention to me" type is sooo cute 👀

honestly i get that!! 😭 both types have their charm, but i have such a weakness for the gentle and affectionate ones who slowly get more jealous 👀♡

It depends on the levels. If it is low level or mild jealous and possessive its fine. But I don't want extreme MLs that just forbid you to make choices. My boyfriend is mild level possessive too. He is mild jelly too and sweet and kind guy. I feel like a bit is okay but not obsessive level. Usually, in otome game I would love it to include a bit to add spices in it but I don't want female lead to suffer either.

I also like this kind of haha, for example, being gentle and affectionate can turn black in the later stage, which is also quite interesting!
 
they're great as long as they don't get rough with me!! (unless that's what you like, of course...)
 
I think I like it, provided the obsession doesn't reach the level of being yandere. that is, pathologically fanatical.
 
I love possessive MLs but not jealous ones. There might not be MLs that are possessive but never jealous, but too much jealousy makes them feel like yanderes.
Actually I don't like yanderes that much. It's not because they're yanderes; I just don't like drama CDs with yanderes that make too noisy sound. I think it is commonly happens to yandere situations.
 
I love it in games cause I know it's fantasy, it's nice for someone to be obsessed to the point of possessiveness. However jealousy can be a hit or miss, if it gets to the point where talking to my friend, co-worker is a problem, i can't do that.

i love yandere who truly loves and shows that he yearns for the FL, (better if he cries and begs desperately) and cares for her well-being, not narcissistic man who has nothing other than strong possessiveness and keeps FL in captivity. i hate it when he says he loves the FL yet treats her like pet or s*x toy

100% yay! Give me all the pixelated red flags. The intense possessiveness and single-minded devotion just make the romance ten times more thrilling :->
 
I like male protagonists who are completely obsessed with the female lead. I like yandere types too, beyond just obsession. The male lead, who loves Yeoju so much that he wants to possess her, is so thrilling
