Your first case as a detective is forcing you to open your eyes to a world bigger than you thought. Or maybe it's better to keep them closed. Seems the supernatural didn't get the memo that nothing exciting ever happens in the little town of Wayhaven.

I've never tried this genre in an otome game. But if I remember correctly, at least one of the Goosebumps books by R.L. Stine had this type (a choose your own adventure style). The choices were based on which page number you had to turn to. It was kind of bizarre to me back then, lol.

It's just text and options, you can check it out on Steam or the App store if you're curious though there's not much to look at because it's, well, text lol

I played it numerous times, all the guys routes. And when the new book will come out i will read them all again. Mason is my favorite, his route is pretty hot. I have played a lot of choice games, but unfortunaly the writing quality of them fell off pretty hard. I would recommend to read fallen hero, the romance in this one is incredible. Though the proper romance starts in book 2.

I was an avid Hosted Games and Choice of Games fan (I still am actually, just not so active anymore in following the new releases)

I definitely... probably has played most of the library lmoaoaoa so my favorites is def a lot
But the most memorable for me is probably Tin Star's Yiska, The Soul Stone War's Morkai & Straasa, and Evertree Inn Saga's Gunther 🫪 I Have A Taste
I do play Wayhaven Chronicles but like... idk I have love-hate relationship with it, particularly with M Can't explain it it's complicated but. Yeah.

AH also recently, they released one of the book I've been waiting for so long which is Diaspora! I love that when it was still a WIP, and I'm trying my best to find the time to play the full book properly. I love me some Sangarinus Nabor yea

I highly recommend Seasons of Shadows , it's a regency romance/mystery game with so much customization and the LIs are so charming and funny.

After getting heartbroken so many times with books getting canceled or stuck on indefinite hiatus, I've decided that I would only play released games, but I made an exception for this one.

This 100% during the pandemic we had a influx of people writing which was great but as soon as work, college/uni became, or even life itself became a thing again, they all left their stories ongoing. Plus sadly another issue we have is people using it as a cash cow sadly. I still love the communities but I read stories of authors i know are working on it or have released a story before.

ShOH my beloved!! One of the few wips that always updates regularly, and the romance is delicious. The exes route with Red? Amazing. Top-tier yearning. I also think the switch to Twine was the move - the graphics are stunning.

The Keeper of the Sun and Moon series is pretty nice too. The first one isn't anything exceptional, the writing is a bit too bare-bones for me and it fell short in a few areas, but the second book is definitely an improvement, and it has some nice romance. The third - and last I think? - book is currently in the works, I haven't checked the demo in a while, but from what I remember it was pretty solid - it's nice seeing the author's growth.

Fair, I've also become really picky when it comes too wips - I'm not touching anything that has less than 4/5 chapters out and takes too long between updates. I've seen way too many stories not making it past prologue - if even that.
