Realistically I would be the npc you see with the same one dialogue in town 😭 but I would wanna be that one merchant that everyone hates on and like gets targeted on their hit list
 
I want to be a MC, but i don't think i'm ready to handle the LI lmao
So, being a MC's friend is good for me, i mean when it comes to otome games, i love heroine more than LI, so i want to be close as possible to her 🥰

Of course... The main character? After all, I am them too hahaha
If I were to actually get into the world of an otome game I've already played, I'd probably try a different route than the one that's already canon...

A cat. The one who shows up right when the heroine needs to vent. I'd just sit there, listen to all her problems, and then get fed and get my belly rubbed. Perfect role.

Personally, I don't think I would want to end up in an otome game... especially considering what some of the worlds are like. I guess if I had to pick, then the god of overseeing that world, because that's kind of what I'm already doing when I'm reading the story and watching over all the characters so there is no change /hj

It seems like most of you are NPCs. I guess being an NPC would be the most comfortable for me too. I think watching from the sidelines would be the most fun!!!!

I hope I'd be a romanceable character for the heroine!!! Please come and pursue me (≧◡≦)

PS: Ideally, I'd be the heroine's best friend who has a secret crush on her. I want to go all out and turn her from straight to gay (/ω＼)

I'm not pretty, charming or interesting enough to be a protagonist surrounded by handsome, cute boys, so I'd never be a heroine XD I can't hurt a fly, not even in games; the number of "Astarion disapproves" I've gotten in Baldur's Gate 3 is proof enough that I wouldn't make a good villain either! I think I could be a friend of the heroine or an NPC; those are the only roles I fit into lol

I've read enough romance to know that ur about to be the oblivious protag in a korean game/novel, good luck oofm😎🤓👍

Part of me wants to be the MC but I don't know if I'll be ready for that, it'll depend on the genre of the otome game and what the LIs are like lol. The other part of me wants to be a NPC, helping and supporting the MC in the background so that she reaches a happy ending with the one who loves. I'd get to watch the story unfold without being in the spotlight or drawing attention, especially if the game is filled with crazy characters or the plot is crazy. I can even run away if I have to because no one will notice I'm gone since I'm just a NPC haha.

I would be the MC's older sister or mother who would be helping with some advice and defending her from too arrogant LIs. That is, if I'm not dead at the start of the game 🤞😁 Because in that case I would make sure to have some key information for the plot and would keep coming to the MC in a dream as a ghost until she realises that haha.
 
I think I would be the protagonist's best friend, because I have a calmer and more passive personality so I probably wouldn't be the center of the romance. I imagine myself as the supportive and listening friend, giving advice, and I would enjoy watching the story unfold from a closer perspective. ~

With my personality, I'm 100% NPC material =))) But if I had the chance, I'd want to be a villain xDddd I'm gonna make everyone's life miserable HAH. Then again, being the MC's best friend sounds good too. I could slap some sense into her and pull her out of whatever absolute nonsense she's dealing with, as long as she isn't a total fool who thinks love fixes everything or has no common sense =)))))
 
would like to be the MC's best friend. I want to help her deal with her mental issues (the price of being the main character) and give her advice. Sometimes, I'd also love to swear at some asshole in the game too :)))))

I'd probably just be an NPC, haha. Maybe the MC's friend, or just one of those background characters who shows up for like one scene. If I did get to be the MC, though, I'd definitely want to be the MC from Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side!! As much as I absolutely love Virche Evermore and Even if Tempest, I'd have to pass on being the MC in either of those.

I'd like to keep the main character energy I have but realistically? I would even be a character you'd see. I'd be the one in the background being like what in the f is the main character doing and saying, we best keep out of it. haha
 
It really depends on what type of otome game it is. If being the protagonist means constantly being in danger, I'd just want to stay far away and be an anonymous NPC.

If it's a warm, school-life type of game, then of course I'd want to be the heroine — though realistically, I'd never be the heroine anyway, since our personalities are just too different. And if I tried to follow the male lead's route, I'd probably end up with a bad ending most of the time, since I wouldn't have a walkthrough to tell me what to do. :ROFLMAO:
 
I really like tragic stuff so I'd like to be the MC's best friend who is an undercover assassin that would sacrifice herself for the protagonist.
I just wanna protect my girl.

In my case, I think I'd be either a best friend or an NPC.

I'm the type who likes to meddle in other people's business, so even if I were to enter the world of a otome game, I'd probably end up meddling there too—so I'd likely end up in the best friend role, lol.

It also seems like fun to watch other people's romances unfold up close, so I'd love to be their best friend!
