If you could write a script for a Doujin CD or Otome CD, what could be?

Hi, I'm new to all this about posting and commenting, uh, sorry if I made mistakes but English isn't my first language, so my apologies in advance.

I have been a consumer of doujin cd since 2023 when I was able to buy my first doujin cd which was Red Ranger, a very popular work on DL Site. It was a great experience because before I was only dreaming in acquiring a doujin cd or otome cd. It as geeat and also the beginning of my vicious hobby.

But, I just wonder if I could have the chance to write a script for a label, what could be? I really love the stories in doujin cds, the labea really put a effort on bring to us better and spicy stories. But decently I have seen tha same plot over and over.

Well, I write fics, so is natural for me to imagine another scenarioa which could be great with the direction of the labels on DL Site. As for example a dangerous travel on a spaceshipp with a lethal prisioner and other five tripulants. Or more MC being dominant. I remember that in Otome CD were a lot of Female Dominant content, but now is very rare to found.

Anyway, I hope you can share some ot your possible ideas or opinions. Thanks in advance.

You have a really interesting dream. I've actually wondered what it would be like if I tried writing a doujin plot myself.

I'm a big fan of drama CDs too. Once I started listening to them, I realized they can be fun, exciting, and surprisingly comforting at the same time.

I especially enjoy stories with suspense, mystery, secrets, or anything a little scary. I'd love to try writing a plot that mixes horror and romance together. I also like yandere characters, or the more laid-back, sweet, and adorable types.

Come to think of it, I've written BL fanfiction before, but I've never written a male-female romance. Since I got into BL first, that's what I ended up writing the most. It might be interesting to give it a try someday. ₍₍◞( •௰• )◟₎₎

Seeing your question actually got me thinking... What would it be like to make a doujin CD?

But the funny thing is, I got stuck almost immediately. I enjoy listening to doujin CDs too, but most of the ones I listen to are R18, haha. And producing a doujin CD sounds pretty challenging (script, casting VAs, characters illustration, BGM. etc).

While playing otome games recently, I had an interesting thought. When a love interest isn't on screen, what are they doing? If every character had their own consciousness, their own life and thoughts, what would happen when they're not part of the current scene?

And if all the romanceable characters truly became self-aware, would the story still follow the path the writer originally planned? Or would it start moving in its own direction?

I guess what I really want to see is fictional characters stop being just fictional characters. It feels like there aren't many stories that explore that idea, and I've always found it fascinating. So... i dont have a detailed script? but it would be fascinating to see something as mentioned above.

I also love listening to audio dramas, including drama CDs and doujin audio dramas. When I find a favorite, I often check the scriptwriter's name and become interested in their other works.

There are many things I like about them, such as the detailed dialogue and emotional portrayals.

I love situations where there are misunderstandings, arguments, and then the characters reconcile after resolving their differences, but I feel like there aren't many such situations in doujin audio dramas because they mainly consist of R18 scenes. (There might be many more that I just don't know about.)

Therefore, if I were to write a script, I would like to write a story where two people who love each other have misunderstandings and big arguments.
