How do you capture text from emulated games for learning Japanese?

Hello everyone! :hi:

I'm playing VNs to learn Japanese. The thing is, a lot of otome games are on Switch, and I'm using an emulator. Normally on PC I'd use Textractor to grab all the text and then look up words with Yomitan, but with emulators it's just not compatible.

There's a specific method using Agent that, in theory, should work — you hook it into the emulator and it captures the text. The problem is, when I set it up and launch the game, the emulator just crashes.

So my question is: how do you guys play emulated Switch or PS games with text capture tools? What I want is to have all the text available at all times, just like I do on PC with Textractor, so I can use Yomitan and go through vocabulary at my own pace. I'm trying out Game Sentence Miner since it has OCR — is that the best option? And would that also let me have the text in my Clipboard like with Textractor?

If anyone has experience with this or knows of any alternatives, I'd really appreciate the help. It's just super convenient to have the text readily available, especially for quickly looking up grammar points or idioms. Thank you in advance!
