How do I stop phone keyboard from mistyping?

I use a mobile phone layout for my smartphone, but when I try to type a letter that is in same key twice, instead it changes into next letter in the key instead

How do i change it to not switch between same key 'sletters?

have no idea why would you want to use such an old keyboard system, but the only way i can think of is probably to key in space right after you key in the letter.

I should clarified, I am typing in Japanese. JPN typing in traditional keyboard is faster than EN. but there is problem with it because there are only twelve keys they have to put 5 characters in one, if you want to press a different hiragana on same key, you have to pause then type, or change setting to allow quick typing.
I fixed by turning off Flick settings.
