Also, I'd like to know how can I report on dead links? and is it fine if I requested another filehost?

And what for a series do you mean? Anime series? Manga series? VN series? Game series? And etc...

Because at every sub-sections of Download section you do find a Request-sub-section: where you your request(s) set can.
