Biggest change this update is how the lens works it now uses shaders and properly masks off the under image. This does a couple things. First off, it's way lighter than using surfaces, even if your phone doesn't have it's own CPU. This is great because I wanted another tool to eventually be Bianca's Lens and have it show you different things. But with the old system that would require another surface which is risky on android devices. This has been something I've been trying to figure out for years so I'm very happy to finally get that done.

Recommendation: Start a New Game While your old save files should work, I strongly recommend starting a fresh save. It has been three years, and this release serves as the bedrock for the game going forward. A Note on the Codex & Old Saves
If you decide to load a save from a previous version, the new Codex System will not work correctly.

If you load an old save: The Codex may be buggy, however, once you transfer your save data to Part Two in the future, it will correct itself.
