Info: On a different note. The response I got for the post Dana game prologue were pretty positive. I’m sharing it now with everyone, so that all suggestions and objections are noted and addressed, before I start work on it in earnest. Please note that it’s a prologue. Just introducing people to the story, and some of the main characters. And that it’s an alpha, so it’s not finished. There’s quite a bit of polish left to do. The way I’m thinking is that this will replace Dana once it’s finished, with IR becoming my co-main project. If that makes any sense. Lots of people seem to like IR, so I’ll try to give it more attention. But all this comes after Dana is finished.​

It's done. And I hope you enjoy it.
Mostly story in this update.
Like I said before, it's a little shorter due to me wanting to release a little earlier this month.
It's the 25'th. Good enough. In the future if we happen to have a long delay, it won't push the update in the next month. Gives us a little cushion, and insure we don't go a whole month without an update.
For comparison, this update is 243 renders, while last update was 270. 1 animation this month. Last month it was 3. So, 90% in terms of renders, 30% in terms of animations. But we managed to win about 5 days. Actual play time will depend on choices, of course.
I think I got all the bugs, but if I didn't I hope they will be reported.

I don't want to create a long and big game. I'm trying to create a series of episodes with different endings each one. Only for the endings you will follow different paths. The endings will be:
1- Good Ending: This is the normal ending, but it's a incomplete ending.
2- Bad Ending: This is more a game over, but this doesn't mean less funny or less interesting...)
3- True Ending: This is the true ending that it will be linked with next episodes. To reach the perfect ending you'll need the right mix of points and to take the right choices at the end of the episode.

You need some time to make a decision, but in the end you decide to do it. The job is all you ever dreamed of and it's been years since you left your hometown after all.
You rent a nice apartment you have looked up on the internet, pack some essential stuff in a bag and ship the rest via container.
Since the container needs some days to arrive you also book a hotel room for a few days.
The story starts the day you arrived in your old hometown, after you took a taxi from the airport.​

Note on V0.2:
This is actually more like a 0.2.5 because the last update should have been 0.2, so there are scene from 0.2 in it that didn't make it into the last update and about 1/2 to 3/4 of 0.3.
The new save system (male and female) sadly only works on new saves (new game) and not on quick saves. I haven't find a way to fix this yet.
I'm still not happy with the layout/UI but I didn't want to hold the update back just because of it.
I've switched from Daz 4.10 to 4.11 in between this and the last update, so some of the render might look a bit different than before.
I had to drop 1 animation (actually 2, male and female) and use images instead, because there was a glitch in it I wasn't able to fix until now :/

After nearly a decade of research, only one conclusion was found: if there was a solution, it was not found on Earth. With the male population already starting a slow decline, they took to the stars once again, sending scouting parties of equal parts military and scientists to dozens of planets in the hopes of finding a cure. For several years, their attempts came up empty - until recently. Audio and video feed with one scouting party was abruptly cut off just as they excitedly announced that a solution had been found. All attempts to contact them failed, and it was decided that a small cruiser with only a few personnel would depart for the planet immediately in an attempt to reconnect with them as soon as possible.
Meet Alicia.
A talented military soldier, Alicia was chosen to lead the rescue party. She will be sent to this planet to investigate the cause of the communications disruption, and to make contact with the crew.. assuming they're still alive.
With over 30 planned, animated sprite H-scenes, CGs drawn by LustFire, a breast expansion mechanic that alters every sprite sex scene in the game, and fully voiced Game Over scenes, there's plenty of H-content to see - all paired with classic Metroidvania gameplay. Explore an alien planet, collect upgrades for both traversal and your weaponry, and save as many people as you can.

-Completely reworked the ENTIRE Deep Soil from the ground up, with new puzzles, less annoying level design, and new tileset artwork
-Added 4 new conversations into the Deep Soil
-Finished the Bestiary section of the menus, with descriptions for every enemy that unlock when you capture them (note: doesn't include Poison Alraune or the bosses yet)
-Implemented Warped Soldier enemy recolors (other recolored enemies coming in the future)
-Added Poison Alraune enemy into the Deep Soil (note: currently has no H-scenes or CG, will get unique scenes added in the future)
-Implemented Warped Scientist and Alraune CG reworks by Kuso
-Added Lurker BE H-scene (climax animation not complete, but loop is)
-Fixed numerous bugs and issues (will be listed at the bottom of the post)
So that's the list of the major things we got done this update. The vast majority of my time was taken up by the first one, completely reworking the Deep Soil - I've gone over it plenty in updates before, so I won't waste your time explaining it all again, but it was a complete redesign from the ground up, with about 80% of the previous rooms scrapped entirely. I'm significantly happier with it now, and I hope you will be too! Unfortunately, the sheer scope of the rework meant that there were some other plans I had that had to be pushed back into the next update. I was a little too ambitious and didn't end up making it all happen, my sincerest apologies for that.
