help with pixiv

[mango444]

Hey guys! I recently came across an artist on PixivFANBOX (https://rehu-rehu.fanbox.cc/)
that I'd really like to support, but I ran into a bit of a problem.

Since PayPal isn't an option anymore, I can't seem to subscribe because none of my cards will go through.

How do you all usually pay for your subscriptions? Is there another payment method or some workaround that I'm missing?

Thanks in advance for any help!

I heard Pixiv uses a similar system as DLsite.

I have a card that supports cross-currency payments for a small fee so that's how I do it

Doubt it. Fanbox works fine for me, DLSite does not. I don't think DLSite accepts non-japanese credit cards at all.

As for fanbox, the website states that "Only cards that support authentication services (3D Secure 2.0) can be used". I believe 3DS isn't very common in the United States so if @mango444 resides there, he might as well give up on using those cards. But finding and using an online card provider such as the ones I mentioned before, that do use 3DS, is not that difficult.

Also cross-currency payments should be free by nature, so I do not understand tim's comment. They certainly are for me and within Wise/Revolut.
