Have you ever loved a route too much to continue playing the other routes?

Back in the college days, i remember replaying kakeru's route from norn9 2 times followed up with seven route from mystic messenger for 3 or 4 times until i get sick of it in the 6 run or so lol. The main reason for me to replaying the route is due to the nature of one true pairing or the matching LI that i shipped the most with the MC so it was kinda hard to move on the next route because it'll distract me that's why lately i've been saving my favorite LI to the very last to avoid replaying the route. Unless if i really love the story i'll come back to replaying it.

Not really. I remember it did happen to me like once or twice when I just left finishing a single route because it felt like "It should be a canon". But mostly I prefer to give the author's work more attention, even just out of respect

I usually save the character I think I'll like the most for last. In Cupid Parasite, though, I broke that rule and played Allan's route as soon as he was unlocked. I ended up regretting it because it made Gill's route much harder to enjoy, and that's why I don't like him. I still finished all the routes because I don't like leaving games unfinished.

hasnt happened to me at all. i'll love a route and gush over the ending but while doing so im starting the next route haha. i just gotta have the 100 percent and get everything out of the game that i can no matter what

the only game where i've had the issue of being too loyal is probably the arcana (oh my god throwback), because asra canonically sacrifices his heart for you in all playthroughs >.<. to let that act of devotion be unrequited is imo insane

on the flip side, some games where in the lis get together have made me feel like it's impossible to play their routes only because i find them too cute in their already established romance!! max i can do is poly :~

Of course, for example in past 2 weeks it was Rei from Blackish House
But I'm continue to play anyway because always do 100% in games

I dont think I ever loved a route too much to play the others, but I needed to take a few days break after some routes in the past, because I was still to attached.

This was me with Birushana Noritsune T_T That first route did so much emotional damage and healing that I had to take a break from Birushana right after fr fr

DANTE in Piofiore no Banshou: Ricordo, he has great personality and loves the heroine so much since childhood, and even when in other routes she is with somebody else. In many other routes the heroine knows nothing about him and maybe get killed by other LI which is so sad. Perhaps the game should lock his route to the end of the game so other routes would be more enjoyable (but actually his route is one of the two routes that has to been done at the beginning of the game)~

I have. I'm still thinking about that route so I haven't touched the rest. I'll probably get to them eventually
