If your post was deleted so that the co-purchase group could "claim" the game upload after their delay then I find that incredibly shady behaviour from them. It's "anime-sharing," not "anime-holding-hostage-to-get-donations."
Donations are voluntary. Deleting uploads so that no one else can "undermine" the donation group is a racket. Why is a racket allowed to operate on these forums?

WAO...... i hope this is just a misunderstanding... as you say all of us are here to share bc the community of otome and bl is not as big as normal one and the releases of pc mostly can be loss media and that suck (the old otome and bl mostly ) if is you backup and don't see the problem if you want to share the game i mean YOU PAY the full price i do when i dont find certain game if i have to know how to back up my games i would do it and share freely thats the point share so like i said before maybe is just a misunderstanding i dont think you cannot share something that you pay on you own....

The thread for Suito wa Hakumei (水都は薄明) is also locked even though the game is still not uploaded anywhere. While the group list the game as completed in their "co-purchase" tracker when it's clearly not a co-purchase. I thought locking threads was part of the rules but apparently it's not how unfullfilled requests are supposed to be treated? Are PC games and individual purchases now under the control of this group too? I hope not. A co-purchase group is a nice idea but a private club who stifle others is not.

About the thread for Suito Wa Hakumei, when I saw it was locked, I thought someone had shared, but they locked it just because someone said maybe they might share the game at the end of this month. I really don't understand the mods actions. I hope everything gets resolved :/

It's essential to note that ASF's core principles prohibit charging members an access fee, therefore, you will not encounter any paywall VIP sections on Anime-Sharing.com. Occasionally, the admin may choose to support a separate group in exchange for resources provided to ASF members, but this is entirely at the admin's discretion.
You are welcome to share your own version of the game without any issues. However, if a moderator deletes your post, I urge you to report it to the admin immediately, as such actions are unacceptable.

I'll also, for those confused with the co-purchase document, update it to be more clear, some games are simply marked as 'complete' because someone else said they would upload it, we are not funding this game - its just we mark it as 'complete' so we dont have to contribute funds toward it and can move it onto the next project. I believe in that instance there are personal circumstances ongoing in that persons life preventing them from getting to a pc.

I have two suggestions for the administration to consider:
- When the co-purchase group has confirmed a purchase and announced a release date, individuals who own the resource should be allowed to release it early, provided they attach proof of purchase. For the co-purchase group, supporting the publisher's release and sharing resources are both objectives; for resource owners, the prerequisite for sharing is legitimate purchase. I believe these two aspects are not contradictory—this approach unifies the goals of both parties. Providing proof of self-purchase can also prevent unauthorized redistribution and reposting of resources.
- I came here today specifically looking for Suito wa Hakumei (水都は薄明) and discovered this discussion. I recall the co-purchase group maintains a detailed spreadsheet documenting game purchasers and those who committed to uploading. This spreadsheet can continue to be used without closing the "REQUEST" threads until someone actually uploads the game. Even if someone has committed to uploading, others should certainly be allowed to upload early. A separate thread could be created to publicly display the game title and the user who committed to uploading, and pinned for visibility, as some people won't check the specific details within each individual thread. In practice, after such public announcement, the final uploader will essentially be confirmed as the committed user, because most people will be less likely to extract and upload the game once they know this information—thus preventing duplicate threads and wasted effort on both sides.

There is a misunderstanding stemming from the new moderator categorizing the request thread as fulfilled just because the Co-Purchasing Group planned to release it in the future.
Their intention was simply to organize the Otome section better. I was informed quickly and I've assured all members that this won't happen again.
The whole incident was just a huge misunderstanding, and I hope I made myself clear enough, leaving no room for doubt.

The reason people worry about things taking a turn for the worse is that actions like post deletions and thread locks do appear unsettling, and we raised our concerns before things actually escalated.
I upload games shared on Anime-Sharing separately to MediaFire to ensure link safety. Based on MediaFire's file upload timestamps, I uploaded UN:LOGICAL to MediaFire and shared it on Anime-Sharing on January 31st. If needed, I can provide proof of the upload from that time. However, as you said, let bygones be bygones. The current slight turbulence in the community is meant to make it better, and I am more than willing to be patient about this matter.
On a personal note, for games that others have already announced they will upload, I will refrain from doing so to prevent duplicate efforts. I respect your hard work and hope you can continue to make this community a place where people feel at ease and free.

First of all this wasn't the first report that landed on my desk. If I remember correctly, another member brought something else up to me before this thread, the other person was much more hostile. it was also resolved. I didn't mean to say you caused any problems.
I didn't know that you uploaded something and got deleted. I have restored your posts after looking it up. This was not supposed to happen. It should not happen again.
Frankly speaking, this is not what the admin want. Ultimately the ASF wish all members to share resources with the community, so we can have nice thing in life.
