FREE TALK in otome CDs

I personally skip them. But I would like to think the Free Talk is also for the seiyuu so that they can get out of character and debrief. Especially, for really intense Otome CDs, I think it benefits both the seiyuu and listeners to analyze the scenario and the chracters.

It depends. I dont usually listen free talks but if its my fav VA I listen them. Or if I like acting a lot and wanna know more about him I listen free talks. Me listening free talks is usually rare lol

Yes, I love listening to Free Talks! Especially for my favorite CDs, I'm always eager to know how the VA felt playing the character, plus all the fun and embarrassing behind-the-scenes moments.. Hearing their thanks to the listeners means a lot too.. Those small details are why I mostly make sure to listen to them ,it feels like a genuine heart to heart with the voice actor

Exactly my thoughts. It just feels off to me personally, though I can understand and see the appeal why some of the circles include them or why people listen to them. It's just not my cup of tea

I like free talk, so I listen to most of the works

Because it's interesting to hear how the voice actor felt and how he acted about the work.

However, at the beginning of the free talk, there are times when it is loud that destroys the atmosphere of the work, so I'll skip it at that time

Not quite similar to free talk, but I really enjoy the "radio show" for 淫魔教育 series where 3-4 VAs get together and play little games and chat about the work they do.

I enjoy listening to freetalk. I think it gives a nice break after listening to the story. At the end of the CD, I'm back in real life so freetalk doesn't bother me. I consider the VA totally separate from the character.

Honestly I also skip them, but sometimes when I am really interested in how they feel during their performance, I will listen to them! Especially for the really "different" kinds of stories.

I understand there's people enjoy listening to freetalks because they could be a fan of specific seiyuu and want to know about the seiyuu through the freetalk
But I don't really understand the sleeping sound lol what is that for? And the volume is HUGE

I used to have zero clue why free talk tracks were even included when I started listening to drama CDs, so I'd just skip them completely.
Now I don't mind them as much. Honestly I only care if they're talking about character interpretations. Personal life stuff? Total pass for me. Guess I've just always been more into the story side of things than the people behind it.

I enjoy hearing how the voice actors interpret their characters.
I'm not really interested in the rest.

I really really enjoy the free talks. I guess one of the reasons they put them there is for the seiyuu fans :)
I get to listen to them more, compare between their acting voice and their normal voice. Also, I could hear how they build the characters and appreciate the effort. Sometimes they'll slide some hints about their normal daily life and it's nice to know that they are also normal people leading a normal life.

To compare, I guess it's like the after care after an intense scene :)
