Forced Route is a suffering stuff

I'm the kind of person who probably only plays one route and it will take a long time.When I finish I feel tired and I probably stop playing it. So this kind of design is torture for me...

Unless the route includes any of my landmines—which I would still use the force skip to complete—I don't have a problem reading it for the lore.

I sometimes find joy in hating on a character with my fellow otome-playing friends. We might even hate on each other's favourite LIs, but it's all in good fun to power through to reach locked routes.

I really feel the same way! My take is this: I'm okay with following the official walkthrough order, but it's a completely different thing when the game forces me to play in that order Those two feelings are totally different That's exactly why I love OVER REQUIEMZ so much, every character is treated equally, and no one route is locked just because one or two characters are closer to the truth.

I understand its purpose if it's done for plot reasons but at the same time, it feels like a waste of time if I'm not interested in the LI.

If I'm really invested with the plot, i don't mind playing forced routes. Though I do agree that it's such a pain to go through all that when you're not interested in some LIs routes

Just tell me the recommended reading order, and let me read it however I want!

I can totally understand how you feel. Most of the characters I like end up being locked routes too.
That said, I don't really mind this kind of setup. I usually play in the recommended route order, and having forced routes gradually builds up the story and world settings — which I actually find pretty enjoyable.

Sometimes, the system that requires you to play through certain routes first can feel a bit frustrating. When I can't tackle the character I'm most curious about right away, it makes me feel like I have to wait even longer. Still, I understand why they set that order—it's for the sake of the overall story flow and hidden backstories.

Who understands the suffering of wanted to play your favorite LI route but that´s the blocked route and is the LAST ONE TO PLAY...
I´m in a love / hate situation with a game because i want to finish my fav LI route but i dont have any interest with other LI storyline ARGHHHH.
So, i kinda paused and played in a while... (and months has passed).

And i dont want to skip the dialogues because EVERYTHING IS RELATED...

Literally an issue I am faced with, skipping a lot of guys just to get to the ones I want.
