I downloaded and mounted the iso file and installed it, but when i run in normal or japanese locale the game doesn't open at all? I also noticed it creates a new crash dump. This is for iwaru my master

Hi, I haven't tried the game myself, but I have run into problems with some other games that are older like this. Have you tried changing the compatibility on the EXE to an older operating system? You can do this on Windows 11 by right-clicking the EXE, selecting properties, going to the compatibility tab, check compatibility mode and set it to an older version of windows. If that doesn't work for you, I have no other solutions, hopefully someone else might!

Have you tried to run the game with something like LunaTranslator or Locale Emulator (this one is a bit outdated)? Or did you just change your computer locale to Japanese?
I've had luck running games with LunaTranslator (it emulates Japanese locale when you hook the game). Sometimes just changing the locale in Windows is not enough. Also check out compatibility like the comment above suggested!
