I noticed something interesting and wanted to ask the knowledgeable community here if this is a recent development, or if you have seen other similar cases.
Lately, I have been seeing a new trend of "digital-exclusive" limited editions of otome games up for pre-order. The first was for LicoBiTs/Broccoli's upcoming game, Le Mirage Mystique (demo on the eShop!). The game has a "digital bonus version" for the same price as the physical Limited Edition:

This digital bonus has exclusive DLC that can't be purchased separately, with exclusive short stories and illustrations that looks like this:
(特典1：ゲーム本編の前日譚を描いた書きおろしショートストーリー 5篇
特典2：およ氏描きおろしイラスト)
Another example I noticed was when I was preparing to pre-order Otomate's upcoming MIX DUNK -KING OF BASKETBALL-, which also has a digital deluxe edition (デジタル豪華版) which is also the same price as the physical Limited Edition.
(The physical limited edition's drama CD has somehow transformed into a limited-time ボイスドラマ&サウンドトラック視聴カード but that's another story.)
This digital bonus also has exclusive DLC that can't be purchased separately, with exclusive after stories that have CGs. (There was a little note that there is a possibility the DLC will be sold in the future somewhere in the fine print, but I've never seen such a note come to fruition before.)

While there have been first-press edition download codes for recent games, like Crazy Chain and Matsurika no Kei Tenmei Kashokuden (fandisc), I was a little shocked about this format since it seems to be a completely new "version" of the game. At least in my experience, I haven't noticed any previous "digital download bonus" that can't be purchased otherwise before. Even RubyParty distributed DLC codes with their physical Treasure Boxes and there was no digital exclusive edition.
However, I might be totally wrong, and there are actually other examples. So, my question to everyone is, are there any DLC you can't access in consumer otome games unless you purchase a specific version? In this case, the digital deluxe edition.
I would like to make a note of them for preservation/collection purposes if possible. (Note that this excludes digital pre-order bonuses included with physical limited editions, like KONAMI's upcoming GakuPuri in-game voices/effects. It also excludes DLC that is freely purchasable, like UN:LOGICAL's new DLC that comes out tomorrow.)
(I always thought that the physical deluxe/limited editions or pre-orders should include all bonuses in-game, but now I'm fretting over which edition to get, because digital doesn't require shipping... But it doesn't include any of the booklets or CDs... lol)
