No, SLR didn't screw anything up (at least from what I've played). Most issues are image errors, but since I don't have much time because I work almost all day, I can't test it myself.

If you want, I can give you a download link for the game (on pixeldrain, vikingfile or the server you feel more comfortable with). I downloaded it from hentai-sharing (I'm not sure which version it is, because neither that site nor Anime-Sharing shows the version)

When they don't state the version it's almost always the initial release version. There have been at least 3 patches since release, and they would have mentioned them.
You don't have to upload it, v1.0 is on all the usual sites.
I'll run some tests with it.

Please be a bit more specific, I've been playing for a bit with your translation and I did not encounter anything serious, yet.
There's some word wrapping issues because you didn't change the font or wrap tighter, and you did not translate picture based text, but I don't see any error messages or had crashes, yet.

Do I need to do something specific?

I can also click on parts of it and it asks me if I should upgrade my equipment for 5 iron and 2 cloth.
Your screenshot also suggests that you changed the font.
Did you make changes not included in the "Survive 4 Apocalypse Prelude SLR Translation.zip"?

Maybe your files are damaged?

Yeah, I did change the font following your guide to "StintUltraCondensed-Regular.ttf." I'm not sure if that matters.

And about the files: no, they're the same as the zip I uploaded. I didn't change anything, but I'll try downloading the game from there again (thanks btw)

I found some entries in Map001 that "might" cause errors in the gallery.
All the way at the end the cells 7763-7768, 7774-7779, and 7768-7788.
I would get rid of those translations just in case.

You're right, I downloaded the game with the link you provided and it's been running fine so far

I don't know what happened or why mine was broken
