Earphones all the way for me!

Since most of my listening happens in bed while winding down or falling asleep, headphones are just too bulky when lying on a pillow (especially for side-sleeping). Earphones give that close, direct binaural audio feel that makes the dummy head microphone positioning sound so much more intimate.
For my actual setup, I use the Sony WI-C310.
I really recommend them if you're looking for a comfortable, budget-friendly option for Otome CDs. A few reasons why they work so well for situation CDs:
• The earbud tips are small and lightweight enough that they don't dig painfully into your ears when resting your head against a pillow.
• Sony's audio tuning works great for voice-centric tracks. The whispers, breathwork, and close-up binaural effects come through really crisp without sounding harsh or muddy.
• They easily last through long listening sessions and overnight sleep tracks without dying mid-audio.
