Do you use a guide or go in blind when playing otome games?

Honestly I kind of wish I was better about not using guides...^^' I think I spoil things for myself sometimes haha but I like to make sure I get the good endings, since those are what I'm playing for! And I often don't actually play the bad endings unless I need to unlock something, I've been traumatized one too many times...

For the very first playthrough, I play without looking at any information; from the second time onwards, I use a walkthrough to pursue a different route.

I love watching it! I want to get to the happy ending as fast as possible,

I like to see where my choices lead me first, then if I get stuck after a couple of playthroughs, I have no choice but to look for a guide. Especially if there are different endings to get.

First run is always blind—no guides, no spoilers, I wanna feel all the natural reactions from my own choices. After I finish my main bias's route, I grab guides to knock out the rest of the endings and collect all CGs fast. Random trial-and-error gets tiring when I'm just filling out the gallery, so guides save so much unnecessary replaying. I only ignore the walkthrough if I'm super interested in another love interest's story to hold onto some surprises.

The first time I usually choose by my own, but mostly it's the bad ending, after that I will follow the guide, to collect the full CG, story etc

At first, proceed without any strategy. And after seeing one ending, I look at guides to avoid the one I've already seen. I don't want to see the same ending twice, haha

I always play it on my own at the first attempt, but if otome has a system where we can't repeat our choices, I will use a guide if it is related to my favorite character ^_^

Walkthrough all the way. I own so many otoges that if I went in blind it would take me a lifetime to get through my backlog. I do believe in 100%ing the game but only with a guide so I don't get lost.

When I first start a game, I always go in blind. After that, I use a guide to make things easier and get the route/ending I want or complete all the route/ending.

I'm also a fan of my first route being completely blind! ^^ Looking up a walkthrough for my first playthrough feels a bit tedious and I prefer to pick the choices I like, even if I get a bad ending first ^^'

I usually follow a walkthrough from the very beginning.
Sometimes I try to clear the game on my own the first time, but since I want to work through my backlog of games, I often prefer to make progress as quickly and smoothly as possible!

I'm the type of person who used to rely on a walkthrough so I wouldn't miss a thing—as if my life depended on it, haha! But over the years, I started moving away from using them and began venturing out on my own.

I really want to finish games without a walkthrough, but every time I try I can't help checking one because I'm worried about the consequences of my choices😥 (if I don't use a walkthrough I end up saving before every single choice)

Usually, I don't check walkthroughs the first time I play. But if I end up with a bad ending, I get really bummed and frantically look one up—I just feel insecure about playing without guidance˃̣̣̥᷄⌓˂̣̣̥᷅

I always go in blind when playing. I play it many times to get other endings without any guides. But if I still can't get certain endings after many attempts, then that's when I use a guide!

Always go blind on the first run! It's more fun to see how you'd manage by yourself. Then I'll use a guide to complete the game 100%~

I always go blind first because I want to make choices with my heart, not what the guide says. It feels more like MY story. But if I'm stuck or keep getting bad ending, I will check guide. No shame!
