Do you use a guide or go in blind when playing otome games?

I play without a walkthrough until I reach the ending, and only then do I rely on one.
I check the reactions before and after several choices to see if they seem favorable, and initially I tend to go with the option that seems more promising.
Even then, I sometimes end up with a bad ending...

I always stick to a walkthrough for the common route first. Then I go in blind to unlock the first ending for every LI, before using the guide again to 100% the rest of the endings.

I don't like bad endings or normal endings, so I always use a guide no matter what =)

i've always used a guide i don't want to waste my time trying to get the specific ending i want on my own but i do think it might be fun to go in blind for a shorter game

I usually use walkthroughs.

I save frequently because I want to have data for the points before branching paths.

I often find myself liking the scenes before the ending, so I rely on walkthroughs.

At first, I try to choose intuitively without looking at anything, and I end up with a bad ending...

I usually go in blind for the first time, and then guide if I want to collect the other endings

blind in first playthrough because i don't want any spoilers, but maybe walkthroughs for different routes to complete the endings collections!

First I do like to go in blind, but when I'm at the scene where idk what to choose (like have a feeling either choices would let me to the happy end) then I'll look the guide

first start go in blind, after finishing one route, then will finding the guideline to complete and unlock all the ending

I'll definitely play with a walkthrough.
I want to see the happy ending first.

I always use a guide. I really admire and appreciate the people who spend their time making walkthroughs for everyone. Using a guide lets me enjoy the story more comfortably and focus on the characters and emotions instead of stressing over every decision.

Back then, I relied mostly on guides to get to the endings that I wanted and collect the CGs. But recently, I want to go play blind on my first playthrough. It gives me the sort of self-insert experience of the game until I reach a certain ending. It's mostly a normal ending most of the time, though. But it gives me a sort of satisfaction to finish a route on my own. After that, I'd go for guides to complete all the endings. lol

I always use a guide before I even start playing! 📝
I'm the type of player who needs to unlock everything — all CGs, all endings, all achievements.
I just can't stand seeing those empty spots in the gallery. 😅

I go blind first so I can enjoy the story. it would be blind for every character routes. Then I will use guide to help unlock CGs, endings and achievement.

I mostly use guides to save time since im impatient to try different choices and to avoid getting the bad endings as much as possible at first, but if the game doesn't have any guide yet, i go blind and save scum

First playthrough should be blind for me. While I usually get bad ends this way, I like the idea of a LI "naturally falling for me" so when I actually do get a good end blindly, it feels especially sweet. 💕

I try to play without a guide first. I only look one up if I can't seem to reach the good ending on my own.
