Do you prefer younger Lls, older LIs, or characters around the MC's age?

I like it when the MC and LIs are closer in age because it allows them to interact more naturally as opposed to having to tiptoe around age-based social hierarchy. If there is a noticeable age gap, I usually prefer LIs who are older than the MC because they tend to be closer to my age and are more relatable if it's an otome game. If it's an audio drama I actually prefer younger because they can call the MC/listener nee-san/senpai/etc instead of just using "you" all the time (in my own culture it is really rude to call people "you" instead of by their name or title).

i don't particularly care about age differences but i do like certain dynamics that mostly younger LIs (or ones considered the same age) give! i don't project onto the MC and everything is fiction so that's probably why age doesn't matter and i see all characters as their own self. cute is justice, but it has to be a certain kind haha. like, not a child but boyish... if that makes sense? ie. in ayakashi gohan, i like yomi! maybe i'm just a fan of the mc teasing/li being teased dynamic haha. you definitely see less of that with older LIs

For me, I like LI who is the same age as MC or not too old, maybe 4 years gap is still okay. If the LI is too young, it feels like I'm a criminal, wkwkwk . If the LI is too old, it feels creepy too.

I'm good with anything if it's written properly. Don't really care if LI is 1000 years older or younger, as long as it doesn't come off creepy or explicitly realistic. If it's a realistic story/visuals, then LIs of roughly the same age would be preferable

Personally, I prefer someone around my age or younger. Older partners always make me feel a bit uneasy; even if they haven't actually done anything, I still get the feeling of being "managed" or disciplined. With someone my age or younger, I don't feel that way; it just feels like we're on the same level.

I definitely lean towards younger LIs! Mainly because their visual designs usually appeal to me a lot more. To be honest, their personality doesn't really affect my choice too much as long as they look good to me lol.

I tend to like the older LIs and the ones closer to the MC's age usually, I rarely find myself liking younger LIs.

Generally speaking the older LIs come off as mature and dependable and I find that to be attractive qualities, it also helps that I tend to like their designs most of the time. I do also like the feeling of being taken care of (not too much though, I don't want to feel like a doormat lol ).

The LIs closer to MC's age are really cute, I find that they can have a sense of understanding and comfort that the others just wouldn't have.

I feel that my criteria for liking LIs lie in the capacity to truly understand one another and share the same emotions.
I tend to prefer LIs around the same age as the MC, but if age isn't an issue, I can also come to like LIs who are much older or younger.

The age gap doesn't really bother me that much also and I like all types if the character is attractive and story is written well. I used to prefer older LIs but now younger LIs are also cute.

To me this depends on the seiyuu. There are seiyuus who I prefer their younger spoiled cutie kinda voice, and there are seiyuus who I think their more mature roles are just perfect to escape from my daily life with shitty joushi :')

Age is not an important factor for me but I have noticed that younger LIs are more yearner types? So I am weak to that especially if they are clingy and vying for attention. I blame Marius and Tokisada for making me like LIs calling Mc Onee chan.

i think chemistry is more important than age, but if i had to choose then hmm older LI i guess, i feel like they are more dependable cause they got more experience and knowledge. For the same age, kinda hit or miss, then again i like osananajimi troupe mostly if they get jealous from the new guy or how they have second male lead syndrome lol. For younger li they're cute, most of the time not really my type to choose for romance but more like must protect type.

I tend to like love interests who are usually older or close to the MC's age.
Of course, age doesn't matter much as long as they're well-written and interesting.
