Do you play R18 Otome Games?

Yes!
Whether it's 18+ otome games or R18 BL games, if the characters are appealing or the story draws me in, I'll play it without hesitation(y)

However, if a game focuses solely on adult content, I might end up putting it down halfway through...

A long time ago tho, since I think lately they are not releasing much anymore??
I still remember koezaru ha akai hana and how I'm absolutely on chokehold by Suren-sama (*/ω\*)
that man is allowed to do anything to me (/▽\)

I specifically look for that tag hahaha 🤣 sadly there is a stigma in the otoge industry so we have fewer nukige/R18 Otome games. The west is even censoring certain 'problematic' scenes and changing CGs 😭 Koezaru wa Akai Hana (The Crimson Flower that Divides). I don't look forward to localizations anymore, pls sthap.

Yeah, yeah~ I've played games like 監禁婚~選択の日々~ before. I actually don't play many 18+ otome games. Most of the mature games I played were BL games, since I liked BL before I got into otome games (。・//ε//・。)

As I've gotten older, I've become much pickier about R18 otome games.

I played quite a few R18 otome games when I was still underage. I think it was probably out of curiosity about age-restricted content and that sense of doing something taboo.
Games like Chou no Doku, Koezaru, Fashioning Little Miss Lonesome, Yoshiwara Higanbana, Jooubachi no Oubou, etc.

But as I slowly got older, I started to lose interest.

Now I actually feel kind of reluctant to play R18 otome games. Many of them have some degree of content that feels like it sexualizes the female lead, and looking back, it just doesn't sit well with me.

Especially when it comes to the writer Yamano Eiko — she's just terrible. I'm seriously her anti-fan. Honestly, I really don't understand if what she writes is meant to torment the players or what.

Actually, I used to enjoy it when I was younger than I am now..!
But now that I'm older, I think I play more all-ages games. There aren't that many R18 games either..

I'd honestly love to play more R18 otome games, but the drought is so real that I rarely get to. 🥺 I was a huge fan of Under the Moon.. Leni and Seiju still hold such a special place in my heart.

I love playing r18 otome games.I used to play many titles in the past.
My top 10 favourite r18 are-

5.kutsunoki yashiki no monogatari
6.Ai wa nikushimi ni yoku niteiru
7.Memories
8.Princess Britania
9.Oukyuu yasoukyoku

No, I've never played it.
If what the people here are saying piques my interest, I'd like to try it out.

They don't have the same feeling but it's what gets me curious every time!! I play them when one catches my eye, It's interesting how they get around those scenes and how they portray them since it's for a female audience

I played a few I found online (I think there were six in total, since R18 games aren't exactly mainstream—and most are old enough to be considered "lost media").

Depending on the game, the story can feel rushed and underdeveloped—focused solely on sex with no real background for the MC or solid character development—which is noticeable and a bit disappointing. Unlike all-ages otome games, R-18 titles sometimes seem geared more toward sex than storytelling (which is a bit "meh" since a balance between the two would be ideal). But I have no other complaints besides that lack of depth in the story and characters!

Yeah, I do! I like R18 otoge, but unfortunately, most of them are pretty old.

So far, I've played Chou no Doku, Mashou Megane, Jooubachi no Oubou, Kurokin, and Yoshiwara Higanbana. Chou no Doku was okay. Kurokin was just too boring. As for Jooubachi no Oubou and Mashou Megane... well, they were just way too unhinged for me lol. But I absolutely loved Yoshiwara Higanbana! Shigure's route deeply touched my heart. Next on my list is PersonA Opera za no Kaijin.
