Do you follow the recommended play order for routes or do you go straight into whichever character catches your eyes first?

I used to play only the route of the character I liked and then stop. Then, as I got older, I started enjoying playing in the intended order and reading the whole story. But if I really love one character's route, it's really hard to gather the strength to continue with the other routes, not gonna lie lol.

If there are no other interesting characters, I just go straight to the one I like. But if there's a character I'm curious about, I'll play their route first, and then move on to the one I actually like.

I want to unlock everything efficiently and avoid spoiling myself by jumping into a route that assumes knowledge from others.
